Bornean Orangutans are omnivorous, solitary apes that inhabit the forests and mountains on the island of Borneo. They are known to eat dozens of different plant species, making them important dispersers of seeds. Much like humans, they are capable of using tools for various tasks. There have been accounts of them using plants as umbrellas, back scratchers, and even spears; plus, their nests can also feature “mattresses”, “pillows”, and roofs.
