Hopkinsville Goblin (???)

On a Summer night in 1955, these creatures supposedly came from the sky landing on the property of a rural Kentucky family near the town of Hopkinsville. Described as having disc-shaped eyes, tall swept back ears, long slender arms, short skinny legs, and an eerie, bodily glow, the “Hopkinsville goblins” as they’d later be called terrorized the family through the night. They seemed to move in irrational ways like hopping and floating as they approached the farmhouse windows and climbed on the roof. Shotgun shells clinked off of them like their bodies were made of metal - only able to be pushed away for short periods of time by the impact. After hours of relentless mischief, they reportedly disappeared at the first sign of sunlight - never to be seen again. Were these creatures a product of a fearful imagination? Or, could they be out there somewhere in the galaxy?
