Adélie Penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae)

Living along the entire coast of Antarctica, the Adélie penguin has the largest habitat range of any penguin species. Before entering the water to hunt for fish and krill, crowds of Adélie will meet at the edge of the ice, push one individual over, and wait to see if it is safe before the rest dive. They are famous for their curious personalities, being known to walk directly up to explorers and angry sled dogs without fear.
