Wallace’s flying frog is native to Indonesia, Borneo, Sumatra, and the Malay Peninsula. They are named for their very long fingers with extensive webbing that extends all the way to their fingertips. They use these specialized hands as parachutes to glide between trees up in the canopy when searching for food and escaping predators. They can typically glide over 15 meters! They are nocturnal predators, typically of insects, but perish to snakes that live in the trees.
